Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Udham Singh Nagar, Ludhiana, showcased an impressive blend of innovation, technological acumen and competitive spirit at TECHMANTHAN 4.0, a Senior-Level Inter-School Technology Competition organised by BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, Ludhiana, on August 21 and 22, 2026.
Making their mark in the highly engaging Pick and Shoot event, Dipanshu Arora (XI C) and Krishna Sharma (XI S) displayed commendable technical proficiency, precision and presence of mind to clinch the Second Prize, adding yet another feather to the school's cap.
The school also registered an impressive achievement in Walk-A-Thon (Bipedal Robot), an open-source robotics challenge requiring an autonomous two-legged robot to demonstrate stable and precise walking. Yatharth (X B) and Tejasvi Prakash (X B) demonstrated their prowess in robotics, coding and innovation to secure the Third Prize.
Adding to BVM USN's vibrant participation, Saavi Gupta (IX A) and Prithul (IX A) enthusiastically represented the school in the MIT App Making event , gaining valuable exposure to app development, computational thinking and emerging technologies.
The students participated under the able guidance of Event In-charges Ms. Shikha Wadhwa, Ms. Rooma Joshi and Mr. Narendra Singh Rawat, whose dedicated mentoring and encouragement played a pivotal role in preparing the young innovators for the competition.
Principal Mr. Pawan Sood congratulated the prize winners, participants and their mentors on the commendable performance. He applauded the students for transforming their technological knowledge into practical innovation and emphasised that such platforms nurture creativity, problem-solving, collaboration and future-ready skills among young learners.
